“I’m Ata. | was born and raised in Istanbul. | have studied architecture in Italy and later on landscape architecture in Norway. Now, I’m living in Helsinki and working as an architect. Wood Program has been a great gateway to the promising world of wood, especially to its use in architecture. Having a great team of fellow students, as well as instructors and teachers, has enriched the hands-on experience which is imperative to the program.”

-Planning and execution of renovation projects in the historical buildings in Finland as well as new developments.
-Wide range of projects from renovation to zoning plan
Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture at Oslo School of Architecture and Design, Tromsg, Norway
(2016 – 2019)
-Studies, development and design in landscape architecture, from small scale landscape designs to large scale
territorial planning and strategy.
– The focus of the program is the Arctic Circle with a focus of sea water rise and disappearing landscapes

– The program introduces the students to the world of architecture, from basic knowledge of architecture to the
complex theories and problem solving
– An emphasis is given to sustainable design from concept developing to the final project where the students are
encouraged to respect and preserve the historical context as much as possible
